Happy Birthday Flat Stanley!

Today Flat Stanley joined our third grade class. Two of my students (Sam and John) designed Flat Stanley. They put considerable time into picking out the perfect cycling gear. Notice his gloves, helmet, reflective jersey and cycling shorts. Goggles were considered but, couldn't find a good fit. The boys also had to take into account the weight of Stanley. The lighter the better on a cycling trip. I found that out the hard way.

    Love Flat Stanley...love the idea of taking him along on our adventure...why, there's no telling where he might go...what trouble might befall him...he could get eaten...by...fire ants

    I am excited for Stanley. I know you will show him a good time! I wonder if he could make it to all 50 states??????
